CRICKET NUUS - The SWD Premier league competition of SWD Cricket, which approaches the business end, will have numerous vital matches played this weekend which can determine the final log positions.
The log leaders, Union Stars (44 points after 11 matches) will be in action against Harlequins who is in third place (31 points after 11 matches).
Both teams are in desperate need of a victory to ensure a favourable position on the log. The same will apply for the match at Rooirvierrif between George (2nd position - 41 points after 12 matches) and Knysna Cavaliers. The men from Knysna can still secure a place in the play-offs.
