GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Harlequins Forces C were crowned the SWD Reserve League champions on Saturday, with a five-wicket victory against George B.
Harlequins (128/5) chased down the target in the 33rd over, thanks to a match-winning batting performance by Blaine Willemse (47*) and Denovan Ekstraal (46*).
Earlier, Harlequins was limited to 127, thanks to a good bowling performance by Rhupino Plaatjies (4/27).
In the Promotion League: Division 2 semi-finals, Union Stars 'C' and Hartenbos have advanced to the finals that will be played on 9 April after the respective clubs were both victorious on Saturday.
