Badgers Women confident against Titans

CRICKET NEWS - The Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers Women's team will host the Titans in the Cricket South Africa Top 6 Women's League competition at the Six Gun Grill Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn this weekend.

The Badgers were victorious in their previous match in the 50-over competition against the Lions before the competition took a break for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup that was hosted in South Africa last month.

The Badgers will be confident to build on their successes in this competition. Their supporters will be excited at the return to the team of Protea heroes Tazmin Brits and Annerie Dercksen. Micaéla Andrews and Jané Winster will again be key players in the bowling department.

The Badgers (200/9) narrowly lost by nine runs against the Titans (200 all out) in their previous limited over encounter at Supersport Park, but won the T20 match by nine wickets. The limited over match will be played tomorrow, Saturday 25 March, and the T20 match on Sunday.
