POLITICAL NEWS - While there have been disputes over the position of African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general with calls for a recount of votes, the party is adamant that the conference will wrap up as scheduled.
The ANC held commissions overnight and is expected to deliver reports in plenary on Wednesday.
Voting for 80 additional national executive committee members also started on Tuesday.
The ANC's Khusela Sangoni said: “Time is a bit tight.
"We were supposed to have a full day of commissions on organisational renewal as well as strategy and tactics which unfortunately we couldn’t because of the delays experienced.
