According to reports, at about 7.20pm on Monday the man made a frantic call to police, claiming that his daughter, (43), was becoming violent.
He asked them to remove her from the house, said SAPS spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka.
When officers arrived they found the woman in a rage. They tried to calm her down, but in vain. They were forced to take her to the police station where she would be charged with disturbance and drunkenness.
Upon arrival, she was instructed to sit near the charge office, but continued to be disruptive. She then asked to smoke a cigarette outside which the officers allowed, hoping it would calm her down.
