Katherine Chapell was on holiday in South Africa.
NATIONAL NEWS - The woman who was mauled to death at the Johannesburg Lion Park has been identified as a special effects editor who worked on a slew of well known series and films such as Game of Thrones.

Katherine Chapell was on holiday in South Africa, visiting the country’s tourist hot spots.

According to Daily Mail and ABC News, Chapell has been identified as the tourist who succumbed to her injuries after a lioness pounced through a a car window, attacking her and eventually leading to extensive injuries and her death.
