Residents have called for additional policing after a 12-year-old girl was shot dead on Saturday.
It’s alleged the girl was caught in the crossfire of a gang-shooting.
A 15-year-old friend who was with the victim was also wounded.
The CPF’s Graham Lindhorst said, “That’s what they’ve been asking me on Saturday night, when I got there they said to me, ‘Mr Lindhorst we need more police, we need more’. We stunned why someone just walk up to people, took two young sisters and shoot them, that’s one of our problem.”
Last week, a 10-year-old boy was shot and killed in a gang-related incident in Parkwood.
