NATIONAL NEWS - While the Democratic Alliance (DA) has announced it will ask Police Minister Fikile Mbalula in Parliament to disclose details about his Dubai family holiday, the minister's office is expected to release a comprehensive statement on the trip later on Monday.
Eyewitness News revealed on Monday morning that a sports goods supplier to South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc) paid for at least half of the R680,000 holiday over the new year period.
Mbalula has not divulged any details about the trip but insists there was nothing untoward.
