NATIONAL NEWS - The king of South African slapstick, Leon Schuster, is to call it quits after the release of his 18th film at the end of this month.
But the funnyman says this is definitely his last candid camera film.
"No, I don't think I'll tackle another candid camera movie at my age; it's just too dangerous. It took time for the people I caught out in 1997 to get cross; they didn't get cross immediately because the situation in the country was different then," said Schuster.
Based on the success of his previous films - such as Schuks Tshabalala's Survival Guide to South Africa, which earned close to R30-million, and Mama Jack, which raked in around R27-million, Schuks . Pay Back the Money is likely to do well.
