Inspection finds Skywise is safe to operate
An inspection last month has found Skywise safe and reliable to operate, according to the Department Of Transport.
NATIONAL NEWS - An inspection last month has found Skywise safe and reliable to operate, according to the Department Of Transport.

This was confirmed during a meeting between the airline's management and the Air Services Licensing Council yesterday.

But until the low-cost airline is able to find the money to pay what it owes Airports Company South Africa (Acsa), it's unclear when operations will resume.

The airline was grounded last Wednesday due to unpaid airport charges.

Since then it has been looking for new investors to pump money into the business.
