NATIONAL NEWS - City bosses are again setting their sights on serial water guzzlers.
More water management devices are to be installed at repeat transgressors' homes in the coming weeks.
The municipality has again reminded residents to adjust their water-isolating valves or stopcocks on their properties to reduce the water flow rate.
Recent rain has pushed dam levels up slightly, but it's simply not enough.
Dam storage levels are at 32,5%, which means useable water is at 22,5%.
Collective consumption is 629 million litres per day, which is 129 million above the target of 500 million litres per day needed to build reserves for the expected harsh summer ahead.
