Cape Town taxi violence: Several arrests made

NATIONAL NEWS - Several arrests have reportedly been made amid deadly taxi violence in the South Peninsula.

Violence has flared up for a second consecutive day in Vygrond and surrounding areas.

The father and son were gunned down around 6am in Lavender Hill.

The Western Cape Health Department says its ambulances and personnel were also attacked in Lavender Hill this morning.

A forensic team is on the scene while a section of St Patrick's Rd in Seawinds has been cordoned off.
