Brutally attacked pensioner passes away
Heini and Kitta Witthoft before they were attacked in their Primrose home.
NATIONAL NEWS - Heini Witthoft, who was attacked in his Primrose home last year, has passed away.

Heini (then 78) and his wife Kitta (then 73) were attacked in their home by two thugs on March 14.

The couple had lived in their home since 1963 and moved out after the attack as Kitta was too afraid to return and Heini had to undergo hospital treatment for critical injuries.

Heini passed away on June 9.

His daughter Ilse Witthoft told the Germiston City News that Heini had never fully recovered after the attack, and since November last year he had steadily regressed.
