Bredasdorp murder accused allegedly boasted about crime

NATIONAL NEWS - A Bredasdorp man who allegedly raped and killed a mother in the Overberg town apparently boasted to his friends about the crime.

Delwigo Ward is expected back in the local magistrates court today.

He’s accused of sexually assaulting and killing Sulnita Mahno more than a week ago.

Mahno had apparently been sexually assaulted with a broken bottle, beaten with a brick and a rope was tied around her neck.

The young mother was laid to rest on Saturday, exactly a week after her death.
