Academic activities suspended at CPUT

NATIONAL NEWS - Classes and work has once again been suspended at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)’s Bellville campus today following continued protests.

On Monday evening, student leaders and management agreed to several resolutions following the Fees Must Fall campaign, including that all work may continue without any disruptions.

This agreement was broken yesterday when a group of protesters chased students and staff out of buildings in an attempt to once again shut down the campus.
