NATIONAL NEWS - South African consumers who are already cash-strapped and under financial strain, can look forward to some relief.

South Africa's fuel prices are adjusted on a monthly basis, informed by international and local factors.
The country imports both crude oil and finished products at a price set at international level, which includes factors such as shipping costs.
Prices effective from 1 April (per litre)
- Petrol 95 decreases with R1,88 (inland) and R1,94 (coastal);
- Petrol 93 decreases with R1,76 (inland) and R1,82 (coastal);
- Diesel 0,05% decreases with R1,34 (inland) and R1,40 (coastal);
- Diesel 0,005% decreases with R1,35 (inland) and R1,41 (coastal);
- Illuminating paraffin decreases with R1,84 (inland) and R1,98 (coastal).
