NATIONAL NEWS - It was a close call for a father and son who required assistance after their boat was damaged by a shark in Mtunzini at the weekend.
According to reports the two had been fishing off-shore where sharks were in the vicinity, and one bit into a pontoon, causing a puncture.
In a statement, NSRI Richards Bay Station Commander, Norman Rautenbach, said his crew responded to the call for assistance on Saturday morning.
