The men's fishing vessel capsized on Sunday.
One crew member died and seven others survived. Several of them had to be hospitalised.
The National Sea Rescue Institute on Monday morning joined the South African Police Services diving unit as they resumed search efforts.
Chief of the Maritime Rescue Centre in Cape Town Jared Blows said: “Currently the South African Police Services and the National Sea Rescue Institute are conducting a shoreline search in the area. And we’ve reactivated the South African Air Force helicopter to continue searching in the area as well. The weather conditions have improved slightly.”
