Flabba trial: Sindiswe Manqele testifies

NATIONAL NEWS - Sindisiwe Manqele has begun testifying in her own trial.

Manqele is on trial for allegedly murdering her rapper boyfriend Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi.

Habedi was stabbed and killed in his home in Alexandra in March.

Manqele has pleaded not guilty to his murder, saying she was defending herself against a violent Habedi during a heated argument.

After calling 11 witnesses including a forensic pathologist, friends and family members of Habedi, the State on Monday closed it’s sitting in the high court in Randburg.
