Body found floating down Umgeni River
NATIONAL NEWS - The body of an unidentified man was discovered floating off-shore of the uMngeni River on Sunday morning.
 
According to a statement released by the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) officials conducted a recovery operation after 8am.

A fishing ski boat reportedly made the grisly discovery.

The cause of death is unclear at this stage.

“The body has been taken into the care of the Forensic Pathology Services and police have opened an inquest docket,” said the NSRI.
