NATIONAL NEWS - Premier Alan Winde is pleased to note that President Cyril Ramaphosa has approved the request for a Special Provincial Funeral for champion of the arts, Shaleen Surtie-Richards.
"I can think of no better way to honour someone who has contributed so much to our province and country’s creative community and industry. The nation has lost a giant who will be remembered for her immense talent and contribution.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and loved ones at this difficult time."
