A local car guard at the centre raised the alarm after discovering the little baby left alone in the locked vehicle, a silver VW Polo. Public Eye managed to trace the car guard who explained what had happened.
“I heard crying and when I looked into the car I saw this little baby strapped in all alone. I tried my best to pacify the child through the closed window but the child kept crying and after 15 minutes I became really worried. I then alerted one of my colleagues who rushed to the control centre to summon help. When the centre’s security arrived I went into the mall to try and find the mother because I think I would have recognised her,” explained the car guard.
