VW Mossel Bay repeats its honours

MOTORING NEWS - Volkswagen South Africa recognised its top performing dealers at the annual Grand Prix Awards held in May in Johannesburg. The awards evening was themed "Make Magic Happen" to honour the hard work of the Volkswagen dealer network which makes Volkswagen the reputable brand that it is.

There were 18 award categories and over 100 winners, and the southern Cape garnered its fair share thanks to Mossel Bay Volkswagen.

The dealership again brought home the awards received in 2017.

Super salesman Jaco van der Merwe took a Golden Circle Award as Mastercars Sales Executive for 2017 for the eigth time in a row and dealer principal Amelia Celliers received the award as member of VWSA Club of Excellence for 2017 for Mossel Bay Volkswagen's team.

The dealership is popular locally and has also won numerous client satisfaction awards on national level - meaning they live up to the mission of offering the highest level of customer service in a highly competitive industry.

"The dealer network, which consists of 108 dealerships across the country, is an integral part of Volkswagen South Africa's business. I am proud of the dedication and commitment shown by all winners to make the Volkswagen brand the icon that we know it is. 2017 was a great year for Volkswagen South Africa and I look forward to an even greater 2018," said Thomas Schaefer, Volkswagen Group South Africa chairman and managing director, at the gala handover ceremony.
