MOTORING NEWS AND VIDEO - The Ferobrake franchise in George has been serving the local market for almost two decades. The Ferobrake brand was established in South Africa in 1965, supplying brake and clutch products as well as servicing mining, marine, aviation, commercial, passenger and rail transport vehicles.
Today, 55 years later, the brand still serves light to heavy-duty vehicles, specialising in all matters relating to clutch and brake repairs.
"Apart from being a tried and trusted specialist in the supply of clutch and brake kits, Ferobrake George has an expert workshop that handles all aspects of repairing brakes and clutches for customers," says Pine Pienaar, owner of the franchise in George. "But now you can also book your vehicle in for an oil and filter service at Ferobrake."

Ferobrake George is part of the RMI (Retail Motor Industry Organisation) and MIO (Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa), which guarantees the best service and workmanship. Expertly trained staff members are ready to provide assistance and advice.
Ferobrake was originally established in Natal, near its primary supplier, Ferodo, and this business relationship still exists. The Ferobrake name has evolved into a trade name used by a network of independently owned brake and clutch suppliers. All of these are authorised distributors of Ferodo commercial vehicle brake linings.
You can now book in your vehicle at Ferobrake for an oil and filter service.
Today there are 25 Ferobrake workshops in South Africa and Botswana, providing a wide footprint in Southern Africa. The brand is managed by Maxifren, which is a division of Motus Aftermarket Parts (formally known as AAAS/Midas).
