GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Since the beginning of the year, separate learner/teachers workshops have been held in Riversdale, Oudtshoorn, George, Mossel Bay and Beaufort West to assist learners with their research projects for the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists.
"We've reached the halfway mark towards the end goal of the regional competition," said Eden Karoo admin assistant Sonet Strydom.
Between 11 and 13 May three district expos were held Heatherlands High in George, Voorwaarts Primêr in Riversdale and Bridgton Secondary in Oudtshoorn.
The expos saw 111 projects, 139 learners and 35 judges participating (including three Eden Karoo committee members). All registered projects received insight from judges who are experts in their field."
