GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - CURRENT SITUATION
Monitoring and mopping-up operations will take place throughout the day.

Focus areas: Jonkersberg south, Buffelsnek|Bavaria and Diepwalle|Dubbelberg.

Teams are in place in areas to monitor any flare-ups.

Branch I (West)
Mopping- up under the plantation to secure all smouldering. Mopping-up on Div T. Monitor flare-ups and hotspots on divisions.

Mopping- up under the plantation to secure all smouldering.
Mopping-up on div S to clean-up Keistervaring in gulfs.

Branch II (South, Div Z)
Patrol divisions from George along 7 Passes to Karatara.
Secure and mopping-up of all hotspots.

Branch II (South, Div N)
Secure hotspots and continue with mopping-up operations in the Diepvalle area.

Branch III (North, Div X)
No resources needed.

Branch III (North, Div Y)
Identify & extinguish all visible hotspots.
Mopping-up and construct breaks where necessary.
