KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned that the public of extreme heatwaves in Karoo surroundings.
The public should take safety precautions by staying rehydrated and by seeking medical attention if a heat stroke is experienced.
Tuesday's weather forecast:
Oudtshoorn : The minimum temperature is 19 Celsius degrees and a maximum 39 Celsius degrees. It is forecasted to be clear skies for the throughout the day, with a humidity index of 40%. The evening will have clear skies with a temperature of 26 Celsius degrees.
Ladismith : The minimum temperature is 20 Celsius degrees and a maximum of 37 Celsius. It is forecasted to be partly cloudy for the morning, with a humidity index of 40%. The afternoon is expected to be clear skies with a temperature of 39 Celsius degrees. The evening will be clear skies with a temperature of 28 Celsius degrees.
