All roads with low-water bridges have been closed. Heavy rain is occurring in the mountains and the level of rivers can rise during the night.
Residents and motorists are warned to avoid water logged areas, streams and rivers.

Members of disaster management are responding to residents requiring sandbags.
Oudtshoorn Municipality has been preparing for the predicted heavy rain by cleaning stormwater drains and catch pits.
The programme is continuing but the rain is upon us and delays the cleaning. The Municipality has sandbags for any areas that experience heavy rains and erosion.
The Stormwater team will be in the areas installing sandbags in some of the flood sensitive areas and will also be on standby for any requests from residents.
