Currently, a fire has broken out in the Matjiesriviers area. Cape Nature and a team of Municipal Firefighters are en route to the scene.
Given the prevailing weather conditions, we must emphasize that absolutely no fires should be ignited as the winds are raging fiercely.
In the interest of public safety, we urge you to promptly report any observed fires to our fire department. This will enable Disaster Management to mobilize quickly and effectively to protect our community.
