OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The electricity outage is at the Intec substation which is a 22kv sub and feeds electricity to Oudtshoorn Northern Westbank.
The cable between NA Smith and Intec is damaged.
Electricians are redirecting electricity lines to another substation currently. The municipality urges residents of the Westbank to use electricity sparingly to reduce the risk of tripping another cable.
