OUDTSHOORN NEWS - Parts of the Greater Oudtshoorn are experiencing unexpected power outage. This is not load shedding.
A contractor that is working on a sewer pipe in Jones Street accidentally cut the power 22KV cables to the Unie Plein substation that feeds to the CBD and adjacent areas.
The electricity department is urgently attending to the situation to repair the cable and restore power supply to the affected areas.
