GARDEN ROUTE DISTRCIT NEWS - The Eskom Expo for Young Scientists has come up with a plan to curb the Covid-19 challenge – it is going virtual.
The national office launched a new virtual science fair and encourages learners to register their intent to participate by using the google form at this link.
“We are aware that grades will be coming back to school in stages, but learners need to register as soon as possible,” said Eden admin assistant Sonet Strydom.
Learners who do not have access to internet at home, can register when they return to school by the following dates: Grade 7 and 12 - end of June; Grade 10 and 11 - end of July and Grade 8 and 9 - end of August.
“This will give us a good indication which learners will require assistance with their project content,” said Strydom.
“We endeavour to provide the best possible online assistance and can only achieve the goals learners have set for themselves by all working together. The ultimate goal is to enter and win wonderful prizes.”
