The four employees of Oudtshoorn Meubelvervoer participated in a competition during which teams of packers had to demonstrate just how quick and nimble they can be when faced with a mountain of boxes and furniture waiting to be fitted into a shipping container - working against the clock.
The team from Oudtshoorn Meubelvervoer, who took part for the first time, outsmarted four other experienced teams from PE and George to walk away with the laurels. The event was the annual Packer, Porter, Loader and Supervisor competition for the Eastern Cape presented by the Professional Movers' Association of South Africa (PMA).
