OUDTSHOORN NEWS - All swimming pools except Dysselsdorp are open today, 10 December 2022, while the opening of Dysselsdorp swimming pool will be announced as soon as the challenges with loadshedding and the water situation in Dysselsdorp is resolved.
The swimming pools will be open from Monday till Sunday.
Operating hours: 10:00 - 18:00.
Daily tariff for children - R6
Daily tariff for adults - R17.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
All public making use of the municipal swimming pools are urged to strictly adhere to the following health and safety protocols and measures:
- Pool users must keep the swimming pool facilities always clean
- Minors MUST be supervised in pool area
- By entering the pool and related facilities, you are taking responsibility for your own protection
- Do not use the pool when under the influence of substance abuse
- Swimming pool facilities are a no alcohol, drugs or weapons zone, which means pool users are prohibited to enter the premises with alcohol, drugs and/or weapons.

The gatherings at the municipal swimming pools for the public will be limited to:

Total patrons: 300

Total patrons: 200
Total swimmers: 100
6. Cango Mountain Resort
Middle Resort Pool
Total patrons: 600
Total swimmers: 200
East Resort Pool:
Total patrons: 200
Total swimmers: 100
West Resort Pool:
Total patrons: 150
Total swimmers: 75
The aforementioned number within the swimming pools might be lessened by the authorized lifeguards on duty to ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
Please note that when the swimming pools have reach full capacity no more public will be allowed inside. Illegal entering of the swimming pools is trespassing and a criminal offense.
