KNYSNA NEWS - Many houses on the hill overlooking the Knysna lagoon and the CBD of the picturesque town have been gutted.
According to a reporter on the scene, it makes for a very eerie image as most of the houses that have burnt down are surrounded by properties that remained untouched by the flames.
Everywhere in the suburbs cleanup operations are underway.
A slight drizzle is still falling, but not enough to douse the smouldering embers
