LADISMITH NEWS - On Friday, 15 October rural flying squad members conducted patrols along the R62 to Ladismith when they stopped a Toyota Quantum minibus taxi, which was traveling from the Cape Metropole.
A search of the vehicle ensued when 14 bags of dagga, estimated at R24 000, were found inside.
Members of the flying squad also confiscated three bags of dagga and arrested a 29 year old suspect on a charge of possession of drugs while on patrol on the N2 highway near Albertinia on the same day.
All arrested remains in custody. They will appear in the respective local courts once charged.
