OUDTSHOORN NEWS - Six members of the Bongolethu Boxing Club recently attended a boxing tournament at the Oyster Festival in Knysna and prevailed with medals. 

According to one of the coaches Luzuko Majola, this is a special achievement because five of the boxers entered the ring for the very first time.

Boxers and their medals:

  • Linathi Mapona: Gold
  • Sithesethu Thys: Gold
  • Lubabalo Mqalo: Silver
  • Aphiwe Mzolisa: Silver
  • Amzolele Jaxa: Silver
  • Libhongo Baby: Silver
