KAROO NEWS - Whether you and your partner have been together for a few months or a few years, coming up with ideas for Valentines Day can be difficult, especially during the pandemic.
Here are some ways of still having a romantic time and be safe.
• Visit a local restaurant that is compliant with the Covid-19 regulations - just remember you must be home by 23:00.
• Have a picnic at home. Set the mood with a nice blanket, some of your favourite snacks, fairy lights or candles.
• Relax with a movie marathon. You can even do it outside with white linen and a projector.
• Have a chocolate fondue in your living room. Dip some strawberries and marshmallows.
• Create an indoor spa and spoil your partner with a romantic massage.
• Have a romantic dinner. Cook your favourite meal and create a romantic mood with nice music and some candles.
• Breakfast in bed.
• Have a game night. Use candy or cookies for the pieces. When someone gets jumped, they have to eat their piece!
• Recreate your first date.
• Bake something sweet for the day of love.
• Write your partner a love letter.
