OUDTSHOORN NEWS - Bianca Januarie (33), born and bred in Oudtshoorn, is currently making a big name for herself in the media world.

According to Januarie she got a call last year out of the blue from one of her associates that a position is available at the well-known hit morning show, Expresso Breakfast Show and Afternoon Express. The show is broadcast weekdays on SABC 3 television.

She said that she accepted the job offer of production guest coordinator without hesitation because the position is right up her alley.

During her teen years, Bianca attended La Jeanade Model Academy where she was exposed to various modelling requirements.

Her big break, however, came in 1999 when she won "Miss Photogenic" at the annual Miss Expo.

Thereafter she won a string of beauty pageants which sealed her love affair she always had for the modelling industry. Januarie is also a qualified accountant and was previously employed by a big accounting firm in George.

" In the end, everything worked out for the best because my current employment gives me an opportunity to practice my image consulting expertise in the fashion and beauty industry."

I also opened my own beauty, fashion and modelling academy (ECLAT) in Oudtshoorn as my humble way of giving back to the community.

This academy will soon open its doors in George as well, she concluded.
