SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The South Cape Tvet College will be adding seven new courses to the list of qualifications on offer next year.
Students will benefit from a partnership between the college and Unisa which will avail them the opportunity to do a B.Ed Foundation Phase: Grade R to Grade 3, and the Level 5 Higher Certificate: Adult Basic Education and Training as full-time courses at the George, Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay campuses.
Four new National N-Diploma courses are available for students with a Grade 12 certificate.
The courses will consist of 18 months' theory followed by 18 months' workplace experience, after which the student can apply for their National N-Diploma.
The George campus will offer a new Diploma in Financial Management and Mossel Bay campus will offer a Diploma in Public Management as well as a new N1 - N3 course in Water and Waste Water Treatment.
To assist those interested in administrative work in the legal and medical fields, two new secretarial courses have been introduced at the George, Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay campuses.
Applications for 2018 are open and students are urged to visit their nearest campus as soon as possible.
