GEORGE NEWS - There is only a few weeks to go before the 4th annual dotsure.co.za Polar Bear Plunge, when the good people of the Garden Route strip down and brrr-ave the waves for a worthy cause.
The entry fee is a blanket, and all donations go to the less fortunate in our community and to shelter pets in need. We’re busily preparing to make a rewarding splash. Join us?
“We are fine” will bring you the hottest live entertainment and music to move to. Mickey Louw will MC the event. We’ve also got loads of fun activities and give-aways to keep the energy up, and we’ve extended our kiddies corner, so more fun in the winter sun for the little ones!
Charity stalls will sell a variety of goodies - treats, gifts and more. Every purchase contributes to the excellent work of local organisations. Please bring cash to support this mini outdoor market.
We will also have various challenges and competitions throughout the event.
- We’ll have brain freeze challenges for the brrr-ave.
- There’ll be dance-offs for the daring.
- You can even dunk someone or be dunked, all in aid of charity!
So, if you’re looking for something different to do, and feel like a day of great fun, pledge to take the plunge with dotsure.co.za on Saturday, 27 July 2019 at Victoria Bay!
Festivities kick off at 10:00.
Visit the dotsure.co.za Polar Bear Plunge event page on Facebook to register.
Have a blanket to give? You can safely drop it off at 117A York street, George, and we’ll distribute it to our beneficiaries.
