Level 2 warning for thunderstorms

KLEIN KAROO NEWS - A level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms has been issued over the interior of Namakwa (Northern Cape) and the eastern interior of the Western Cape on Wednesday 2 November. 

Heavy downpours, strong gusty winds, large amounts of small hail as well as excessive lightning is expected.

These thunderstorms may produce heavy downpours (20-30mm/h) within a short period of time, which could lead to flash flooding and can be associated with excessive lightning.
