Update
OUDTSHOORN NEWSFLASH - Firefighters from Eden, George and WOF ensured that the fire in the Avontuur and de Vlugt area was brought under control.
There are a few small areas still active, which will be monitored throughout the night.
Firefighters currently at the scene include:
Eden DM - 6
George - 2
WOF - 45
CapeNature - 4
Ben Zondag (farmer and some of his employees werkers) - 10
WOF air support (chopper en spotter) was used for three hours earlier today.
