Tomorrow (Friday 30 July), donors can donate in George at the Medical Centre, Courtenay Street, from 10:00-15:00. If not in George, donate at your nearest blood bank.

Donate blood - O-type stock critically low
Stocks of O-type blood are critically low at the Western Cape Blood Service.

WESTERN CAPE NEWS - The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is having a blood donation drive in the Sedgefield municipal hall in Tarentaal Street today (Thursday 29 July) from 15:00 to 18:00.

According to Arlecia November, spokesperson for the transfusion service, they are experiencing critically low levels in stock of the O blood type. 

"We have only two days' supply left. We urgently need the public to come out and donate. thank you to those who have already done their bit to donate."
