KAROO NEWS - Uitkyk Eatery @ Calitzdorp Cellar's shared their Asian Bowl Recipe for Braai Day. It can be perfectly paired with Calitzdorp Cellar Cape Vintage Port as a hearty comfort meal.
Ingredients:
- Rindless Pork Belly (Or any other pork leftovers from the previous days braai)
- Noodles or rice of choice
For the glaze:
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 thumb size piece of grated ginger
- 1 red chilli (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
Serve with choice of veg such as raw baby spinach, carrots sticks, or micro greens and garnish with spring onions or chopped chillies to taste.
