OUDTSHOORN NUUS - De Rustica Olive Estate brought home three medals earned at the the 5th edition of the international Sol d'Oro Southern Hemisphere competition for olive oils.
The three medals won by De Rustica were part of only nine awarded to estates in South Africa.
De Rustica received a gold medal in the intense category for Single Cultivar Collection: Coratina, a silver medal in the intense category for Single Cultivar Collection: Favolosa and a silver medal in the medium category for Single Cultivar Collection: Frantoio.
The Giulio Bertrand Special Award also went to De Rustica Estate.
