SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Tourism will conduct oversight in Western Cape, starting today (Tuesday, 1 August) in Oudtshoorn and ending on Friday, 4 August at the Provincial Tourism Wesgro offices in Cape Town.
The purpose of the oversight is to meet with the local tourism authorities where municipalities will make presentations to the Committee, assess the state of tourism and view social responsibility initiative projects in the province.
The oversight committee will meet with Mossel Bay Municipality on Wednesday afternoon for a briefing on the state of tourism in the area.
