SI is an international association for businesses in the tourism industry and promotes the concept of business amongst friends.
The president of SKAL Garden Route, Neil Els, said that the Garden Route club is geograpically the biggest of the eight clubs in the country stretching all the way from Storms River to Bonnievale.
Els recently received the award as best SKAL president in South Africa. He is also the chairman of Oudtshoorn Tourism and co-owner of Turnberry Boutique Hotel in Oudtshoorn. At last week's meeting five new SKAL members were inducted.
