BUSINESS NEWS - The team of PSG Insure Graaff-Reinet has reason to be proud of themselves. After two years of uncertainty due to the Covid-19 restrictions and a drastic lifestyle change, the team still managed to walk away with Santam's Silver Award for Outstanding Customer Service and Growth. The team also became two members richer.
According to Wessel Landman, who has been the new principal of PSG Insure Graaff-Reinet since May last year, the award is especially due to Magda Zerwick (head of claims) and Alet Slabbert (senior adviser).
"Through difficult times, they have continued to give their best and work hard to keep our customer service at the top quality that everyone is used to. Alet is someone who never backs down from a challenge and she tackled difficult circumstances with positivity. The foundation that she and Magda Zerwick have laid over the years, regarding good customer service, has paid off and Alet received Santam's Silver Award for receiving new business. This is an exceptional achievement, especially under Covid lockdown. This award is a reflection of good teamwork," he said.
With their eyes on the Santam Gold Award for the new financial year, they are already working hard to make it a reality.
Since July 2021, some new faces have joined the PSG Insure team to ensure capacity for the growing business.
Carmen Prinsloo has been part of PSG Insure since September 2021, as an advisor under supervision, and she handles personal lines. Christelle Slabbert, also an advisor under supervision, has become part of the PSG Insure team since February 2022. She handles Agri and commercial business.
"Our team has definitely grown and has big shoes to fill, but with mentors like Alet and Magda, success is the only option."
