OUDTSHOORN BUSINESS NEWS - The new Olivanti Country Manor has partnered with Van Loveren Wines to complement the guest house project with a unique wine pairing experience.
Fanie and Denine van Wyk purchased the farm on the Rooiheuwel Road where Jam Street used to be, and relocated from Hartebeespoort, where they owned a successful outdoor business, in 2017.
They intended to farm, but the worst drought in 100 years forced them to be creative - and Olivanti was born. They have spent the past year renovating the house to turn it into a guest house. A run-down outbuilding was renovated and has now been converted into a spacious wine pairing studio.
This venue was packed with guests for the official opening of Olivanti on Wednesday 28 March, with well-known comedian Dowwe Dolla as the guest artist.
Olivanti Country Manor offers five en-suite rooms, wine and food pairing as well as an intimate venue for functions. Olivanti is open for unique pairing experiences six days a week. Work on a larger venue for functions and a chapel is already underway.
The luxurious Olivanti Country Manor has five en-suite guest rooms.
